About the Activity

What to Expect

An unforgettable experience is waiting on the slopes of Sierra Nevada with our kid ski lesson for 6 to 12 years old! Beginners are welcome to our lessons. At the beginning of the lesson, we form groups of 8 kids per instructor and put them together according to their level. This way, instructors can focus on the specific needs of the kid and provide the right guidance to each one of them.

On the beginner's slopes, we will learn by playing games, practising the basic stance and movements, so the kids can gain confidence on their skies. For those more advanced skiers, we focus on improving the basics and more demanding techniques, and perfecting the skiing style. During the lesson, we will take a short break, so that the children can go back to the slopes with even more energy.

Meeting Time

We meet 15 minutes before the start of the course on the right next to the top station exit of the gondola "Al-Ándalus, opposite the magic carpet. We offer the option to drop off your children at our ski school office (Hotel Melià Sol y Nieve Local 6), and we can accompany them to the meeting point if needed. After the course, you can pick them up at the same location. This service is optional, and for details on pricing and schedules, please contact the school directly.

Lunch Care

We recommend giving your children a snack and something to drink. Like this, we can refresh the energies in a short break and restart with full motivation.

Equipment Rental

If you book including equipment, you can pick it up at our ski and snowboard rental up to two hours before the start of the course or comfortably the day before. We are open daily from 09:00 to 19:00 (Bajos Hotel Meliá Sol y Nieve, local 7).

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
