This short via ferrata tour takes you through a stunning canyon. Its landscape with small waterfalls is wild and romantic. The challenge will be to get through the canyon without getting wet, although a refreshment might be welcomed in summer! It is a very diverse route that will test your strength, balance and courage.
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet in Arco, where you get to know your alpine guide and receive the necessary equipment. After a short trip to the starting point, our experienced guide will give you an introduction to the route and safety-guidelines.
- Tour:
This route follows along the steep walls of the canyon. You will encounter prominent passages, some long iron ropes and a Tibetan bridge made of ropes. We will climb up until we reach the Castle of Drena.
- Arrival:
At the end of the tour we take you back to the base.

We had an amazing experience with our guide, Marco!!
He did a fantastic job of making our first via ferrata trip fun, safe, and informative. He was a wealth of information about the local area and other things to explore and do, and also provided history of the area and the via ferrata trails.
He also did a very good job of explaining the equipment and not just the rules of how to climb safely, but the "why" of what we were doing, along with providing tips on how to do it more comfortably and what to expect if we want to do it ourselves.
