No, swimming ability is a requirement to participate in this course.
After passing the final test, you will receive the worldwide valid OWD (Open Water Diver) brevet. This allows you to rent diving equipment and dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 20 m.
The course is structured as follows: Day 1 includes 2 theory lessons and practice in confined water. Day 2 also consists of 2 theory lessons and practice in confined water. On Day 3, you will have 1 theory lesson and 2 open water dives. Day 4 is dedicated to 2 open water dives.
The course includes a certified PADI diving instructor, all necessary high-quality diving gear (wetsuit, mask, fins, octopus, weights), a scuba tank for all dives, a logbook, the OWD certification, and borrowed learning materials.
To join the course, you must be at least 15 years old, be in good physical health, and have swimming ability.
