Goal of the course
The PADI Open Water Diver certification combines theory lessons, skill-development sessions, and open water dives in the deep blue sea. Holding this certification means that you are able to dive to a depth of 18 metres and are qualified to dive alongside any buddy with an equal-level or higher certification, without the need of an instructor. You will also be equipped with the skills needed to master a broad range of situations underwater and know how to stay safe.
Meeting & Preparation
Please arrive at the dive centre 30 minutes before your course is set to begin so we can provide you with all the necessary information before your first theory lesson. If you choose to complete the theory course online, it must be done beforehand so you can start the practical diving sessions upon arrival. At the dive centre, we will equip you with all your scuba gear and you will meet your instructor before getting started with the course.

- Day 1: 3 confined sessions+2 open water dives
- Day 2: 2 confined sessions+2 open water dives
The order and length of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.
