Fun, safe and surprising
It was a really fun experience. Richard took us to places where he knew we'd see lots of different species. Before we set out, he explained what we would see, and then as we swam, he told us about it.
I don't recommend it. The team is very friendly, but this activity can be done on your own. You don't discover any hidden gems. We received no explanation, the equipment is just a basic mask, snorkel, and fins, and you leave from Tabarca's main beach, so there's no point in going with an instructor.
No, the ability to swim is a requirement to take part in this activity.
The activity takes place in the Marine Reserve of Tabarca, which is known for its rich marine flora and fauna. You can expect to see a variety of colourful and rare fish.
The minimum age for this activity is 6 years. You also need to have swimming ability. If you wear prescription glasses, you must be comfortable wearing contact lenses.
The price includes a certified dive guide and high-quality snorkeling gear.
The meeting point is at the provider's base in the harbour of Santa Pola, just 10 m from the sea. A paid car park is available nearby.
The total duration of the activity is 5.5 hours, of which you will spend about 4 hours on the boat trip and snorkeling.
Yes, it is possible to ride on the boat without snorkelling for a fee of 15€ per person. This is subject to availability.
Based on customer reviews, photos are not taken by the provider during the activity. One review suggested this as a potential improvement.
