No, the ability to swim is a requirement to participate in this course.
After completing the course, you will receive a globally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification.
The certification allows you to dive up to 18 metres deep. For children up to 12 years old, the maximum depth is 12 metres.
The minimum age is 10 years. You need to be in good physical health and have swimming ability. Minors require written parental consent. You also have to provide your name, age, height, weight and shoe size.
The price includes the hire of all necessary diving equipment, tank refills, the PADI course book and logbook, a T-shirt, the PADI registration fee and certificate, and all training with a qualified instructor.
The course consists of scuba dive theory, underwater skills training, and 4 open water dives.
You will meet at the diving centre on Caldera Beach in Akrotiri, under the tavern Remezzo. Free parking is available in the area.
No, you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
