- The entrance to the Blue Grotto, one of Capri’s most iconic sites, is unique and requires specific procedures. Due to the small and low entrance, visitors must transfer from the main boat to a smaller one, operated by licensed guides. This maneuver is essential, as the smaller boats are able to navigate the narrow entrance safely. Visitors need to crouch low in the boat and remain seated throughout the entire visit.
- Disembarking at Marina Piccola can present certain challenges for people with limited mobility, as there may be gaps between the boat and dock that require careful navigation and a fast and prompt disembarkation from the guests. For travelers with reduced mobility, it is recommended to seek assistance when disembarking and to use support from a companion. Once in Marina Piccola you’ll see stairs going up to the Capri center where you find both taxis and busses to reach the downtown.
