You have the choice between a try dive in our pool or a dive in the sea from one of our semi-rigid diving boats. The clear waters around the Azores offer perfect conditions for your first dive. During the dive, you have the experienced instructor all to yourself and receive a lot of helpful tips to ensure a safe experience.
Goal of the course
Within this program, you learn the basics of scuba diving and have the chance to discover what breathing underwater feels like. We teach you theoretical basics, safety rules and the handling of the scuba equipment before you get a taste of scuba diving during your first dive. Depending on the option you book, you can do a diving session in the pool, which is ideal if you are short on time and money. The other option is a first dive from the boat, which allows you to discover the underwater world of Faial.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our diving centre located on the premises of Hotel Colombo in Vila do Porto (free parking available). Here you meet your instructors, receive the diving equipment and can use the changing rooms. As soon as everybody is ready, we start the course with a short theoretical introduction.
