Take advantage of your holiday on Crete for an unforgettable tandem paragliding flight high above the island. The starting point in Avdou, which is not far from Heraklion and is known for its thermals. Your experienced tandem pilot can take you up to 1200m above sea level. From up there you have a breathtaking view over the countryside beneath you, the north coast of Crete and the surrounding cities of Heraklion, Hersonissos and Malia. On a clear day, you can even spot Santorini on the horizon. Sometimes vultures join us and glide through the air right by our side.Tour programme- Meeting & Preparation:
We meet at the local air club on the edge of the village of Avdou at the booked time. There is free parking available. You will meet your pilot, who will give you a safety briefing and answer open questions. Afterwards, we head to the starting point by car.
- Start and Flight:
At the take-off site, we attach the harness and you can put on the helmet. The pilot prepares the parachute and gives you instructions. All you have to do now is to run a few steps together until you are airborne. Now you can just sit back and enjoy the spectacular view. If you want, your pilot can take photos and videos of your experience, which will be made available to you after the flight. If you have booked flights for several participants, these will take place one after the other
