If you're looking for a sports challenge in an exceptional place, then this rafting descent on the Verdon river is for you. Don't be fooled by its length: thrills and adrenaline will be there as you face the impetuous rapids of the river with its famous turquoise waters. This descent requires a good physical condition as you will be asked to carry your raft at the end of the course. So if you feel like an adventurer, don't wait any longer and book your place!
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at the car park of the Castellane swimming pool 30 min before the chosen time. You will recognize us by our blue trailer. You will meet your instructor who will give you your equipment and explain to you how to handle the paddle as well as brief you on the safety instructions. You will be able to leave your belongings in your vehicle and your keys in our car. Once everyone is ready, we will take you by shuttle bus to the starting point of the descent at the Pont de Soleils. Each raft can accommodate 8 participants.
- Tour:
During 1.5 h, you will face the river and its tumultuous rapids. But don't worry: your certified instructor will be there to help you stay afloat. You will also have a few moments of respite to admire the fabulous natural scenery in which you are progressing, especially towards the arrival at the Point Sublime, the last section before the gorge itself. A reward well worth the effort!
- Return:
Once the descent is over, you will be asked to carry your raft for 200 m to reach the shuttle. Then we will take you back to Castellane to your vehicle.
