We are happy to welcome you to our special freediving week with Gianluca Genoni, an 18X World Champion! In this course, participants can expect to improve their freediving skills through a healthy mixture of theory and training sessions, pushing their limits in a group of diving lovers led by Genoni himself. Gozo is the ideal place for this activity, given its stunning coastline and a wide variety of sites suitable for all levels.Meeting & Preparation
We meet on the first day at 8:30. Here we can arrange all the necessary paperwork and medical statements. We will do a break for lunch at a nearby kiosk or restaurant, and generally we will finish at around 4 or 5 pm.
Course content
Our days throughout the week will begin with some work in the classroom, discussing various topics in relation to freediving equipment, equalization techniques, emergency procedures and freediving technique. In the afternoon, we will move to the gorgeous Mediterranean Sea for some open water training. This will consist of a mixture of static, dynamic and constant weight dives. The in-water sessions will be conducted in a variety of sites over the week. Diving sites will be selected based on the best weather conditions on that given day, and suitability for the type of training.
