Learn to surf or improve your existing surfing skills in one of the best surfing spots in Portugal. Surf lessons with Zambeachouse take place on the beach of Praia da Areia Branca in Lourinhã, on what is commonly referred to as The Silver Coast of Portugal. Come and experience some of the best surfing conditions in Europe, catch some great Atlantic waves and enjoy the feeling of pure freedom as ride your board towards the beautiful shoreline.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at Hostel Paradise in Praia da Areia Branca at the agreed-upon start time, where you will meet your instructor and receive all the equipment you need. We will then drive you to the beach of Praia da Areia Branca, where you can get started with your lesson.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1 day in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Do I need to be a good swimmer, and what's the minimum age?
You don't need to be an expert swimmer, but you should feel comfortable in the water. The minimum age for the lessons is 6 years.
Is equipment included, and what do I need to bring?
A surfboard and wetsuit are included in the price. You should bring your own swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and some snacks.
