Trial Scuba Diving & Snorkeling in Port-Cros

A privileged experience in the Mediterranean natural park of Port-Cros awaits you: a trial dive as well as a snorkeling session in an idyllic setting in complete safety. You will dive underwater with your certified instructor to discover the underwater world, then you will take your mask and snorkel to continue admiring the underwater fauna and flora from the surface. The two activities are accessible from 10 years old, for an unforgettable adventure with magnificent landscapes.

Dive Areas
The Port-Cros National Maritime Park is located on one of the three islands of the Hyères archipelago. It offers rich and diverse fauna and flora due to its exceptional natural springs. Indeed, at the edge of the magnificent coastal forest, you will find species characteristic of the Mediterranean such as groupers and barracudas, but also nudibranchs and many other fish, molluscs and crustaceans. You may also come across some typical birds such as gulls and falcons.

Programme
We will meet you at our base in Saint-Tropez at the agreed time. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by your instructor who will give you your equipment and a detailed briefing. From Saint-Tropez, we leave by boat from the beach, you will be able to admire the coastal landscapes from the water and then you will pass near the island of Levant before arriving at our diving sites in Port-Cros.
When out in the sea, the trial dive will take place alone with your instructor. Together, you'll be able to dive up to 6m. You will also be shown the hand signals used for communicating underwater as well as the correct breathing techniques.
At lunchtime, we can have a break together in a local restaurant that we recommend or if you prefer, you can bring a sandwich.
After that, we will give you extra time to snorkel to observe the submarine landscapes and different species of fish and shellfish.
