No, swimming ability is a requirement for this course.
To participate, you must be at least 10 years old, have a medical certificate, and be in good physical health. You also need to be able to swim. If you wear glasses, you should be comfortable using contact lenses.
The course includes a certified PADI instructor, all necessary diving gear (wetsuit, mask, fins, octopus, weights), a scuba tank, the e-Learning material, and the PADI registration fee & certificate.
You can choose between two options for the theory part. You can either complete it online before the course starts (eLearning) or learn it in a classroom at the dive centre during the course.
The course consists of 6 dives. It is recommended to complete it over 6 days (one dive per day), but it can also be done in 3 days.
The PADI Open Water Diver course qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) and to plan and carry out dives with a certified buddy.
Yes, a medical certificate is required to participate. You can get one on-site for a fee of €35.
Yes, parking is available at the meeting point for a fee of €6 per day.
