If you have always wanted to experience canyoning in the Sorba, this tour, suitable for beginners, is perfect for you! Together with our certified guides you will explore the stream, discovering the hidden natural treasures of Valsesia, Piedmont. Through dives, abseilings, water slides and a 35 m Zipline, you will learn the basic techniques of this discipline, immersed in a unique naturalistic context. A lot of fun and adrenaline are waiting for you!
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at our base in Piode, in upper Valsesia. After giving you the necessary equipment, a briefing on the activity will follow, including some tests on the use of the descender. Afterwords, the canyoning groups of minimum 2 and maximum 15 participants will be formed - each group will be followed by an experienced guide. A pleasant 10-min walk in the woods will lead us to the entrance of the stream, where the adventure will begin!
- Tour:
In this route you will find multiple water slides, abseilings, breathtaking waterfalls and jumps up to 10 m high (never compulsory, you can always skip the most challenging obstacles). At the end, the highlight comes: a Zipline of 35 m that will end thanks to the soft impact with the water of a crystal clear lake. During the tour, you will be constantly supported by our experienced and certified guides, who will lead you in total safety through the Sorba and its wonders.
- Return:
After about 2hrs spent in the canyon, the trail will end just a few meters from our base. There you can enjoy our hot showers, relax in the sun in our garden or, if you are still full of energy, play football or tennis on our courts.
