Santa Barbara Beach in Corfu is the perfect place to get your first scuba diving certification, namely the CMAS*. Alongside our certified diving instructors you practice the basics of scuba diving and explore the seabed of the Megachoros reef on 5 different dives.
As there is no diving experience required, all diving beginners from 12 years can take part in this course. To ensure the perfect support for each student, we teach in groups of only 3 divers per instructor. The course ends with an examination, after which you will be rewarded with your international certification card.
The CMAS* qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy
- Rent or buy diving equipment worldwide
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our tent on the Santa Barbara Beach where you will meet your instructor and fill out the necessary documents. You can also use the changing rooms, showers and toilets of the closeby facilities. We start the course with the theoretical basics before you get the equipment and start the first exercises in the shallow water.
