Vía Ferrata in Barranco de Berriel in Gran Canaria

During the Vía Ferrata at Barranco de Berriel in Gran Canaria, you will climb a rock face using iron pins, ladders, steel cables and staples, demonstrate your skills at a height of up to 140 metres. Equipped with helmet and harness you will be accompanied by our trained guides on an adventure in a beautiful landscape. Altogether we will cover a distance of about 250 metres in 3 to 4 hours. We will climb in the Barranco de Berriel, and welcome visitors aged 12 and over. Halfway along the route, we will find a nice place to relax and provide you with a delicious picnic to recharge your energies. Do not miss this adventure, we are looking forward to seeing you!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We gather at our meeting point. If you are staying in a hotel in the south zone of Gran Canaria, you are welcome to use our free pick-up service. At the meeting point, you will meet your guide who will explain the programme of the activity and give you a safety briefing. Afterwards, we will distribute the complete equipment, which you can put on directly on the spot. To get to the starting point at the canyon, we will drive a short distance with our shuttle bus.
- Tour:
Our tour takes place in the south of the island, at the Barranco de Berriel, which offers the perfect conditions for an unforgettable adventure. Our guides know the routes particularly well, as they have played a major role in their construction. In total, we will be climbing for between 3 and 4 hours, whereby you will have to use the via ferrata elements to master the route. After half the time has passed, you are welcome to join us for a picnic and to relax. Afterwards, we will continue climbing until the endpoint of the tour.
- Return:
At the end of the tour, we get back to our meeting point, where you can hand in the equipment and get into your car, which you have parked there. Alternatively, our guides will bring you back to your hotel.
