In the course of our private surfing lessons at Praia da Lagoa de Albufeira in Sesimbra, you will take your surfing skills to the next level with the help of a certified private instructor. No matter if it's your first time on the board or your are just looking to refine your technique, thanks to the personal attention you will make fast progress. Choose between a semi-private lesson with two participants or a private lesson where your instructor will just concentrate on you. The waves of the Atlantic are waiting to be caught by you!

Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our base right at Lagoa de Albufeira (free parking available). Here you get changed, store your things in a locker, meet your instructor and receive your equipment. We then head to the beach where we start the surf lessons with a theoretical introduction.

Course Content
Level 1:
- Getting to know the equipment & safety rules
- Assessing surf conditions and currents
- Basic surfing techniques: being in the water, sitting on the board, paddling, surfing and take off
Level 2:
- Wave priority rules and safety rules in the critical surf zone
- Overtaking the critical surf zone to the outside
- Selecting the wave & positioning
- Advanced techniques: duck dive, take off, drop bottom, leading arm, trimming and kick out
