Your children will be delighted to learn to ski in one of the most beautiful resorts of the Portes du Soleil ski area with our kids' ski lessons in Avoriaz.
We provide kids' ski lessons especially for beginners. Children from 5 years old can participate and will be placed in a group of 8 participants maximum. These small groups guarantee greater attention from our state-qualified and bilingual instructors and a more thorough pedagogical supervision to make sure they learn the basics. This way, your young skiers benefit from perfect conditions to learn quickly, enjoy their progress and have an excellent week.
Before taking to the slopes and taking their first ski lifts, the children will be able to practice at the lesson's meeting point. It has a natural slope ideal for practising the snowplough. Then, once they are confident, it is time for the first blue runs. On Friday evening, a big celebration takes place with the instructor, to which parents are invited. Over a hot drink, a medal and a diploma will be given to reward the efforts of the week. The children will also leave with a group photo!

Great instructors, with lots of patience who accommodated a wide range of needs and experience. Our two boys (age 7 & 10) had no skiing experience prior to their lessons, and after day 3 they were taking us up the mountain.

From an administrative pov it was easy to communicate. Booking went smooth and a quick confirmation was given. Regarding the lessons,Our kids really liked the instructor. There was a good mix of practice and fun and they went from 0 to blue. At the end there was a nice ceremony with a medal and certificate.
