You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The snowboarding lessons are suitable for adults and children from 5 years old, for all experience levels.

Beginners learn the basics like sideslipping, braking and making their first turns. Advanced snowboarders can improve their carving technique or try freestyle tricks in the funpark.

The groups consist of 3 or more participants and are divided according to skill level and age.

If the minimum number of 3 participants is not reached, you will receive private lessons for the value of the booked group course.

You will meet your instructor 15 minutes before the start of the lessons at the assembly point, which is directly in front of the ski school building at the Schönboden cable car bottom station.
