12km Kayak & Canoe on Tarn River in Sainte-Énimie - Classic

Discover the jewels of the Tarn Gorges as you paddle along the river on this 12 km canoe trip. Along this route that is accessible to all, you will pass by a waterfall, a 15th-century castle, and several picturesque little villages full of history, such as Hauterives, with its remnants from the Middle Ages perched at the top of a cliff. Anyone from the age of 6 years can participate in this outing that is ideal for families or groups of friends. You can make one or more stops to have a picnic, enjoy a swim or simply walk around. Tour programme Preparation We meet at our base in Sainte-Énimie 10 minutes before the start of the activity, from where you will leave directly by canoe. You're welcome to park your car on our free car park. Our team will welcome you and provide you with the necessary equipment before giving you some important safety instructions. Tour On board your canoe, you can admire the characteristic landscapes of the Tarn, such as the cascade of St Chély-du-Tarn or the medieval castle of La Caze. You end your tour in the authentic village of Hauterives. As there are no roads leading to it, you may have the opportunity to witness the mail or certain goods being delivered by cable car above the river. Return When you arrive in Hauterives, the shuttle will be waiting for you to take you back to our base and you can go directly to your car.
