Los Cristianos Beach is an amazing spot if you want to undertake a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. Our team will provide you with the equipment and guide you through each step of this diving course. With a total of five dives, the aim of this course is to improve your diving skills and to make you an advanced diver. Upon finishing the Advanced Open Water Diver you are qualified to dive up to 30 meters (if you are between the ages of 12 to 14 years old you can only dive up to 14 meters).
Keep in mind this course is for those who already have a PADI Open Water Diver license or analogue certificate of any other diving federation. The course is designed to build on the skills you learned in the Open Water Diver course.
You will improve aspects of diving such as energy and air efficiency, increase your confidence underwater, and have more awareness about your safety. Overall, this course will improve your diving skills so you can be more independent and enjoy time underwater even more.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters/100 feet
- Specialise in diving specialities like wreck diving or underwater photography
Programme- On-site theory lecture:
This course includes theory lessons that will be carried out in the same dive centre. In addition, you will receive a PADI manual to take home with you.
- eLearning:
Book the course now and start learning straight away. After receiving your booking, we will send you the e-learning to do the theoretical part before coming to the dive center.
- Kick-off:
Our meeting point will be our diving centre. We offer a shuttle service in the south of the island, which can be arranged after booking.
During the three days of the course, we will do a total of 5 dives you will deep-water dive to a depth of 30m (100ft). This will develop the skills you already have. You will get a better understanding of the effects of deep diving on your body, the gear you use, and the environment around you. Of course, an instructor will be with you in each dive.
