PADI Open Water Diver Course at Los Cristianos for Beginners

This PADI Open Water Diver course is the way to go if you want to become a true diver. This course is one of the most popular and widely recognized scuba diving courses. You will have the opportunity to dive at Los Cristianos beach, on the beautiful island of Tenerife. This course will qualify you to dive up to 18 meters/60 feet. In addition, this scuba certificate allows you to rent or buy dive equipment, dive on your own with a buddy, and continue to do more specialized diving courses. Since it is an entry-level course, so anyone from the age of 10 is allowed to join the course. The course will last 2 or 3 days, during which you will complete one confined water dive and four open water dives. Of course, the course includes exhaustive theoretical lessons to learn fundamental concepts about scuba.
The PADI Open Water Diver course does not require any previous diving experience. However, you must be over 10 years old to complete this course. Between the age of 10 and 14, you will only be allowed to dive up to 12 meters.

Programme
- On-site theory lecture:
The training includes a theory lecture that our instructors will go into detail. In this lecture, you will learn in-depth the general notions of diving. This theory will help you gain the skills required to dive to a depth of 18 meters.
- eLearning:
Book the course now and start learning straight away. After receiving your booking, we will send you the e-learning to do the theoretical part before coming to the dive center.
- Kick-off:
During the three-day course, we will meet you directly at our dive center. We offer a free shuttle service in the south of the island, which can be arranged after booking. Please note that our free pick-up service is only available in the south of Tenerife.
Once you have passed the theoretical aspect of the course, we will do a first dive in the swimming pool of our centre, which will serve as a preliminary exposure to your diving equipment as well as to the techniques and knowledge we have previously learned. The second and third sessions will be the most entertaining, although they require a higher degree of focus and attention. We will dive in the open sea to a depth of 18 meters. Diving to this depth will allow us to appreciate in a very special way the environment around us and the beauty of this sport.
