You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The meeting point is at 9:10 am at the Hausberg in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, directly below the cable car station. The lessons start at 9:30 am.

The lunch break is from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Lunch supervision including a meal can be booked on-site for €12 per day. You can also arrange with the ski instructor to pick up your child.

The lessons are held in the Garmisch-Classic ski area on the Hausberg. There is a dedicated children's park with figures, a carousel and a magic carpet for the little ones.

Yes, at the end of the week, a final race takes place. The young racers are rewarded with trophies and certificates.

On January 1st, the lessons do not take place as a full-day course. Instead, they are held in the afternoon from 12 pm to 3 pm.
