Discover Crete from a new perspective on this unforgettable boat trip to Spinalonga and Kolokytha! Our journey begins at 10:00 AM from the main harbour of Agios Nikolaos. As we cruise across the stunning Mirabello Bay, you’ll enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and spectacular views of the Cretan coastline. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating insights about nearby landmarks, such as Kri-Kri Island, the sunken city of Olous, and the cave of the pirate Barba-Rossa.
Our first stop is the legendary island of Spinalonga, where we’ll stay for 1.5 hours. Known for its impressive Venetian fortifications and its haunting history as a leper colony in the early 20th century, Spinalonga is a place of deep cultural and historical significance. To enhance your experience, we’ll provide a self-guided tour booklet and map so you can explore the island at your own pace.
Next, we’ll sail to the serene Kolokytha Bay, where the boat anchors at a secluded beach with crystal-clear turquoise waters. You’ll have another 1.5 hours to swim, sunbathe, or simply relax in this hidden paradise. While you enjoy the surroundings, our crew will prepare a traditional Cretan lunch featuring roasted pork, fresh seasonal salad, and bread. Vegetarian and vegan options—such as a grilled vegetable tortilla—are also available. Your meal will be topped off with seasonal fruit and accompanied by a glass of wine or juice. After lunch, we’ll cruise gently back to Agios Nikolaos, taking in panoramic views of the coastline as the perfect end to your day.

We meet 30 minutes before the booked time at the port of Agios Nikolaos in front of our boat. You will find free parking areas nearby. At the end of our outing, we will disembark at the starting point.

Lovely day out with nostos cruises friendly staff and food was lovely, views from spinalonga were beautiful, though had to pay entrance fee of 20 euros just to walk around but it does say that when you buy tickets from nostos cruises so not their fault, the beach we stopped off at isn't good if you have mobility issues as have to climb over a few rocks to get to 2 small beaches.overall had a lovely day out

Today I thoroughly enjoyed the very well-organized boat trip to Soinalonga. Beautiful brochure in Dutch, good announcements on board, and a simple but super healthy lunch. Friendly crew too. Soinalonga is worth the visit and there is plenty of time. Important: not expensive!
