Immerse yourself into the Adriatic Sea with this snorkeling excursion to the Seagull's Rock Beach in Pula. No matter whether it's your first time or you already have some experience, you will be amazed by the colourful coral reefs, fish, and vegetation that can be found beneath the water. Learn how to snorkel and spend a memorable day on the unique Pula coastline.
Snorkeling site
The dive site is located at Seagull's Rock Beach. It is the most western beach in the city of Pula and was named after the many seagulls there. The beach has high cliffs which are suitable for jumping in the water. Seagull’s Rock borders a former military area closed to visitors. The beach is known for it's several caves that you can also swim into and explore. Moreover, Pets are allowed on this beach.
Programme
We meet at Valovine Beach 15 minutes before the start of the trip. If you arrive by car, parking is widely available nearby. You can get to the meeting point by car. First, we will talk you through the programme, the basics of snorkeling and the safety measures. Then, we will walk to the beach. You’ll learn how to use your equipment (masks, snorkels, and fins) and how to snorkel comfortably and safely.
You will start out in the shallow water together with your guide. After everyone feels comfortable breathing, it’s time to venture further out! Once you start snorkeling, it won't be long until you encounter different fish, anemones, crabs, and other marine species. Now, is the perfect moment to pose for some cool underwater pictures and keep exploring this incredible location!
