Full-Day Rafting on the Salzach River in Taxenbach with BBQ

Get ready for a full day of action and join us on a particularly long rafting tour on the Salzach River in Taxenbach. On the 21-kilometre-long white water course, which leads through the beautiful natural scenery of the Salzburger Land, many splashing passages and rapids are waiting to be mastered as a team. Halfway along the route, a grilled lunch awaits you at our BBQ area directly on the river, so that you can start the second part of the tour with renewed energy. Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base in Taxenbach, where we welcome you and fit you with the appropriate wetsuits which you put on in our changing rooms. If you arrive by car, free parking is available directly at the base or in the whole town. This is followed by a short transfer to the starting point, which is located a few kilometres upstream from Taxenbach. After an introduction and a safety briefing, you will take your seat in the boat together with your guide and the adventure can begin.
- Tour:
This especially long rafting tour takes you through a beautiful natural landscape along the Salzach river. On the first section, there is a bit of time to practice paddling. Then comes the challenging part: You paddle according to the instructions of your experienced guide and master the river's splashing rapids as a team. After about 1.5 hours on the river, we'll take a break on the bank, and you can recharge your batteries with a delicious BBQ lunch before continuing the trip.
- Return:
At the end of the tour, a shuttle is already waiting to take you back to the base. Here, you can dry off, you'll receive a certificate as a souvenir and you have the opportunity to buy the photos of your tour.
