What to Expect

Our adult ski lessons in Roccaraso are designed for first-time skiers aged 16 and up who want to take their initial steps on the snow. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Apennine Mountains, Roccaraso offers a charming resort with well-maintained facilities, including a cosy lodge and rental services. The lesson begins on the gentle slopes of the Pratello area, where participants will become familiar with their equipment and learn essential skills like the snowplough technique and basic turns.

Throughout the lesson, our certified ski instructors will provide personalised guidance to ensure each participant builds confidence and enjoys a safe experience. The focus will be on mastering balance and learning how to stop safely, critical skills that build a strong foundation for skiing. As the lesson progresses, participants will practice these skills on slightly steeper slopes, providing a fun challenge and a sense of accomplishment.

One of the highlights of the day will be the camaraderie among the group, as everyone shares the excitement of learning something new together. The lesson is designed to create a supportive and enjoyable environment, encouraging participants to make new friends and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. By the end of the session, participants will not only have improved their skiing abilities but will also have gained a deeper appreciation for the sport and the stunning surroundings of Roccaraso.

Meeting Time

We meet at the playground close to our ski school in Pizzalto, 20 minutes before the start of the activity.

Equipment Rental

If you rent the equipment, please collect it well in advance. On weekends and during Christmas and Carnival holidays the queues at the stores near the lifts are really long. We recommend renting the equipment in the village.

Ski Pass

First timers and beginners can buy the voucher with points for the first day of the lessons.
