What to Expect

Our kids ski lessons in Roccaraso offer an ideal introduction to skiing, tailored especially for first-time young skiers. Nestled in the stunning Apennine Mountains, Roccaraso is a charming ski resort with a welcoming atmosphere and a variety of facilities designed for families. The resort's gentle slopes and dedicated beginner areas provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and explore.

The lesson begins with an introduction to ski equipment, where children will become familiar with their skis, boots, and poles. Understanding and handling the equipment is crucial for building confidence. As the session progresses, our certified ski instructors will guide the children in mastering the snowplough technique, a fundamental skill that allows them to control their speed and direction. This essential technique is practiced on the resort's beginner slopes, ensuring the children feel secure as they make their first turns.

As the day unfolds, the children will practice stopping safely and making their first curves on the snow. These skills are not only important for safety but also for building a sense of independence on the slopes. Our group lessons foster a sense of camaraderie, allowing children to learn alongside peers of similar age and skill level, creating an engaging environment where they can develop a love for skiing. First timers and beginners can buy the voucher with points for the first day of the lessons.

Good to Know

• If you rent the equipment, please collect it well in advance. On weekends and during Christmas and Carnival holidays the queues at the stores near the lifts are really long. We recommend renting the equipment in the village.
