What to Expect

Private ski lessons for kids are the perfect way for your kid to become an expert skier! In the picturesque resort of Candanchú, children from ages 3 to 16 are invited to dive into the world of skiing with personalised instruction. Nestled in the Pyrenees, Candanchú is known for its charming village atmosphere and a variety of slopes suitable for all skill levels. The lessons are conducted in small groups with a maximum of 9 participants, ensuring that each child receives ample attention from their instructor. Beginners will start by getting familiar with their equipment and learning the basics of skiing, such as balance and stance, which are crucial for safety and confidence on the slopes.

As the lessons progress, more advanced techniques are introduced. Kids will learn how to make their first turns and begin to parallel ski, mastering the art of gliding smoothly down the slope. With the guidance of experienced instructors, they will also tackle steeper slopes, enhancing their skills and boosting their self-confidence. The lessons take full advantage of Candanchú’s diverse terrain, including the gentle slopes of the Debutantes area and more challenging runs for those ready to advance. These lessons provide a comprehensive experience that not only improves skiing abilities but also fosters a love for winter sports in a nurturing environment.

Meeting Time

We meet in front of Alquiler Pista Grande, 20 minutes before the start of the lesson. Our instructors will get in touch with you so you know exactly where they are and to make the meeting easier.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 3 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• ID document

• Booking confirmation

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Thermal clothing

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The maximum group size is 9 participants per group
