Private Ski Lessons for Kids & Teens of All Ages

What to expect

Our lessons are carefully tailored to the needs and requirements of young children, whether they are complete beginners or already experienced young skiers. Qualified ski instructors with the teaching skills and expertise required to instruct children. We prioritise a fun approach and safety in our teaching programme to achieve our objectives step by step.

Group formation

• Participants must have a similar level to join a private lesson together.

• Even if they have a similar level, we do not recommend that adults and children from around 4 to 12 years old join a private lesson together. This is because there are various teaching methods and different approaches.

Meeting time

• On the first day, we meet 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Meeting points by level

• First timer: Arnouva – Upper station of the Grand Signal cable car

• Beginner: Arnouva – Upper station of the Grand Signal cable car

• Intermediate: Ski School Office – departure from the Crans Cry d’Er cable car station or at the top of Cry d’Er – other locations subject to request and availability

• Advanced: Ski School Office – departure from the Crans Cry d’Er cable car station or at the top of Cry d’Er – – other locations subject to request and availability

Getting there

• For beginners, a ski pass is required to get to Arnouva; if necessary, we can also arrange to meet you at the valley station (where the gondola departs) on request and subject to availability or feasibility.

Lunchtime care

• Our instructors take care of the children during the lunch break.

Equipment

• You need to bring your own equipment.

Ski pass

• Only children from 7 years old need a ski pass for the lessons.

• The ski pass is free for children under 6 years old but needs to be collected at the ski lift ticket office before the first lesson.

• All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. It's not included in the price.

• All other skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons.

Insurance

• Please make sure you are covered by suitable accident and liability insurance for winter sports.

• We recommend that you take out your own personal insurance. You can purchase this together with your ski pass.

Weather conditions

• Lessons take place regardless of the weather unless conditions are unsafe. The ski school decides whether the lesson can go ahead.

Extra information

When you buy your ski pass, you can also take out insurance (recommended). You can also purchase the optional Fastlane service, which allows you to skip the queues at the lifts and make the most of your ski lessons.
