Private Off-Piste Skiing Lessons for Advanced Skiers - Crans

What to expect

A new activity designed for those who wish to discover the wonderful world of freeriding and take their first steps in this discipline. The programme features safe routes, situated close to groomed ski runs and easily accessible via the ski lifts, on slopes with a gradient of less than 25°/30°. You’ll learn how to check the avalanche bulletin, plan your day, understand the basic safety rules, use self-rescue equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe), how to manage your airbag rucksack and related equipment, as well as discovering the best apps to have to hand. Specific skiing equipment is required for this activity.

Group formation

Meeting time

• On the first day, we meet 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Getting there

• Unless otherwise agreed, the meeting point is always the school office, so that we can check that everything is in order before setting off.

Extra information

You must have a rucksack containing an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe; one with an airbag is even better. A helmet is compulsory, and it is recommended that you have skis suitable for this type of activity. We recommend carrying a snack and a drink in your rucksack.
