The twin islands of Alicudi and Filicudi are the most western of the Aeolian Islands and have retained their wild appearance, where nature reigns supreme. If you want to admire their rocky coastline, high cliffs, and small villages, you can not miss our boat trip to Alicudi and Filicudi departing from Lipari.
Our tour will depart from the port of Lipari Marina Corta and head towards the western side of the island of Filicudi. Here you can admire the cave of Bue Marino, the largest cave of the Aeolian Islands, the Montenassari stack, and Canna, a columnar stacks 85 metres high surrounded by crystal clear waters and inhabited by many varieties of colourful fish. We will stop at the Port of Filicudi for about two hours, during which you can visit the port area, have lunch in one of the typical restaurants of the island and walk 15 minutes to the prehistoric village of Capo Graziano.
In the early afternoon, we will reach Alicudi, the most pristine island of the Aeolian archipelago, where we will stop for another two hours. In Alicudi you can visit the church of San Bartolo, 330 metres above sea level, and enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the Mediterranean vegetation that characterize the island. As in all the Aeolian Islands, the water of the sea is crystal clear, and you can take a dip at the black pebble beach of Alicudi Porto. After a beautiful day exploring Alicudi and Filicudi, we will return to the port of Lipari Marina Corta.
