Details
Discover all the natural nuggets of the west coast of Corsica, thanks to our boat trip to the Scandola Reserve, the Calanques de Piana and Capo Rosso. From Porto, we will sail north through the sublime Gulf of Girolata to reach the famous Scandola Reserve. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the natural park is home to a huge number of species that are now protected. Keep your eyes open, you may see a golden eagle!
We will then head south to Capo Rosso, the most westerly cape on the Island of Beauty. Then we will reach the Calanques de Piana, where we will visit the famous cave and pass under the arch. The red colour of the rock, combined with the turquoise colour of the water, offers a unique spectacle for the eyes.
At any time during the trip, the captain may suggest that you cool off by plunging into the translucent waters of a wild cove, weather permitting. The swimming break would last for 15 minutes. After about 3 hours of boat ride, we will return to Porto. Take advantage of these last moments on our boat to admire, from the sea, the typical mountainous landscapes of Corsica.
