Details
Discover the exciting underwater world of the Arrábida Natural Park on a try dive in Portugal! This area offers the best conditions to introduce beginners to scuba diving all year round. You will dive to a depth of 6 metres and get to know the exciting underwater world from a new perspective. An instructor will look after two beginners at a time, making sure that your equipment fits properly and that you feel comfortable. In the water, you can discover shiny fish and colourful corals.
Dive area
Depending on the weather, we will choose the diving spot in Arrábida Natural Park. In most cases, the dive is conducted in the Prof. Luiz Saldanha Marine Reserve. Here you will find the greatest biodiversity in Europe, making this area one of the most popular diving spots in Portugal. Discover over 1000 different species of flora and fauna, some of which you can only find in this area.
Programme
We will meet at the booked time at the port of Sesimbra near the Sesimbra Yacht Club. There you will find our pink van, which you cannot miss. At the van, you will meet your diving instructor and get your equipment. They will give you a safety briefing and teach you hand signals to communicate underwater. Our instructors will also tell you more about your chosen dive site and the creatures that can be discovered there. Afterwards, you will take the boat to your diving spot. At the end, you will return to the starting point at the harbour.
