Try Scuba – Scuba Diving for Beginners

At the Wind - Centro de Actividades de Montanha you have a great opportunity to live your first diving adventure with a local expert with many years of experience. This course is suitable for children from 10 years old so that everyone can see that this is only the beginning of their diving journey. Goal of the course The aim of this course is to introduce you to the basics of scuba diving. During the course you first get to know the theoretical part, to later on moving forward to dive adaptation in the shallow waters (up to 1,5m deep) followed by a deeper dive (up to 5m). Meeting & Preparation We meet in Arrabida Natural Park - after the completed booking we will contact you to set the exact meeting point. Usually, we go to either Arrabida Creiro Beach. Once there, you will meet your instructor, discuss details of the course, receive equipment and we will brief you about safety. Course content - Day 1: 1 Theory Lesson + Practice in confined water + 1 Open Water Dive (max. depth: 5m) Included Activities - 1 Practice Dives in confined water - 1 Open Water Dive - 1 Theory Lesson Included Services - Certified CMAS/SSI diving instructor - High-quality diving gear (all you need for your dive: wetsuit, mask, fins, octopus, weights) - Scuba tank (200 Bar for all dives) - CMAS/SSI registration fee & certificate Requirements - Minimum age: 10 years - Physical health - Swimming ability
