Private Gondola Ride from San Marco to Bridge of Sighs

Add a special touch to your holiday in Venice and enjoy our private gondola ride to the Bridge of Sighs! Our local gondolier will accompany you during this 30-minute tour along the canals, so that you can admire the impressive architecture of the city from a unique perspective. We will leave from the Danieli gondola station, which is located a few steps from San Marco Square. As we navigate towards smaller canals in the historic city centre, you will be able to immerse yourself in the romance of Venice and feel like in a fairytale. We will then cruise along Rio di Palazzo and pass under the famous Bridge of Sighs, whose name comes from the “sighs” of the prisoners who passed over it while going to the inquisitors’ offices, where they were put on trial. According to tradition, if a couple kisses while passing underneath the bridge in a gondola, they will enjoy eternal love together. The tour proceeds along Rio di Santa Maria Formosa and Rio di San Severo, to end again at the same pier from where it started. If you wish, you can request the company of a duo of musicians, who will accompany your gondola ride with a serenade with Italian music.
