Private Gondola Ride to the Bridge of Sighs & Rialto Bridge

Explore Venice lulled by the relaxing rocking of a gondola with our private gondola ride to the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge! With the company of our local gondolier, you can enjoy this 60-minute tour through the canals of Venice and admire the wonderful palaces built in the Venetian style.

We will depart from the Danieli gondola station, near St. Mark's Square, and start by navigating the small canals of the historic centre, so that you can totally immerse yourself in the romance of Venice. We will then take Rio di Palazzo and pass under the famous Bridge of Sighs, whose name comes from the sighs of the prisoners who passed on it, going to the offices of the inquisitors where they would receive their sentence. According to tradition, couples who kiss as they pass under the bridge in a gondola will stay together forever.

The tour continues along minor canals up to the famous Grand Canal, where you will admire the Rialto Bridge, a marvel of medieval engineering. After a short cruise in the Grand Canal, we will return to our original starting point. If you wish, you can accompany your tour with a duo of musicians who will delight you with a serenade with Italian songs.
