Private Boat Trip to Macherida, Lazaretta and Thodorou Island

Level up your holiday experience by going on a private boat trip to Lazareta, Theodorou and Macherida! You will meet our friendly skipper in the old harbour of Chania, where you will board the RIB boat and get comfortable. Enjoy some refreshing wind on your face, while we make our way to our first stop at Macherida Beach, where you can go for a swim in its crystal clear water and relax in the sun.

When everyone is back on the boat, we set course towards Theodorou. This island is untouched by people, but it does inhabit a big population of the famous Kri-Kri, also known as the Cretan goats. With a bit of luck, we will be able to spot them and take some beautiful pictures. Right next to the island, we will also make a stop, so you can snorkel with the equipment we provide. On the bottom of these waters, you will find the wreck of a German plane that crashed here during the Second World War.

Lastly, we will take you to visit Lazareta, a small island with tiny beaches where you can enjoy some quiet time with your friends or family. After approximately 4 hours, we will make our way back to the port of Chania.

Departure & Return
We meet at the old port of Chania 15 minutes before departure. There is paid parking nearby, please arrive early as there can be limited parking spaces in the high season. We return to the port after approximately 6 hours.
