Details
Our family boat trip on the Auray river will delight young and old alike! From the port of Saint-Goustan, we will leave the Franklin quay and head south. The latter was named after Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the United States who came to Auray to ask for help from France and to support the American states in the War of Independence. During the ride, our captain will share with you all his anecdotes and if there are children on board, he will be happy to tell them stories, which will bring to life the places we visit. The stories and anecdotes will only be shared in French.
On our way, we will first come across the castle of Plessis-Kaër, as well as a multitude of bird species that will accompany us along the way. Then we continue our walk towards Le Bono, a picturesque fishing village, and pass under an Eiffel-type suspension bridge dating from 1840. Finally, after a 1.5-hour boat tour, we will return to the port of Saint-Goustan.
