Details

With our boat trip to Scandola, Piana & Girolata, you will experience a dream day on board our modern RIB boat! From the Tino Rossi harbour in Ajaccio or the pontoon of the Porticcio beach, we will first head towards the Scandola nature reserve, a famous site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1975. There, we will observe the sublime fauna and flora that nest in the irregularities of the rock, while your captain will share with you all his knowledge in French about the west coast of this true Island of Beauty! We will also prepare an aperitif of local specialities, which you can enjoy while watching the ospreys and peregrine falcons perform before your eyes. Before leaving the reserve, you can also dive into the crystal clear waters for a 15-minute swim. Our boat will continue south to the town of Girolata, where we will stop for 2 hours. Here you can enjoy a picnic and a swim on the beach, or have lunch in a restaurant and taste the delicious lobsters, which are the local speciality! Back on the boat, we will cross the Gulf of Porto and reach the Calanques of Piana, which will impress you with the red colour of their rocks contrasting with the turquoise colour of the water. We will also make two 15-minute swimming stops at the Calanques: one on arrival and a second on departure. We then head south past Capo Rosso, the most westerly point of Corsica, to the Sanguinaires Islands, where you can admire their beautiful rocky coastline. Finally, we will navigate along the coast to Ajaccio or Porticcio. We advise you to take advantage of these last moments at sea to appreciate the mountainous landscape in the background of the sea!
