Enjoy a beautiful sunny day with our canoe-kayak rental on the Mayenne river! Everyone is welcome, as long as you can swim. From the Mayenne department, you can even reach the Maine-et-Loire department! This river is calm and wide, ideal for families who want to relax in a green and quiet environment. Tour programme- Preparation:We meet at our base in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne at the reserved time, where you will be welcomed by our team. Free car park is available nearby. Once you have received your equipment and placed your canoe or kayak on the water, you will leave directly from our base.
- Tour:
You can paddle at your own pace on the Mayenne river. In 1 hour, you will paddle an average of 6 km and stay between the two dams. If you choose a duration of 2 hours or more, you will have the opportunity to pass through one or more locks. Thanks to the mooring line and padlock provided on site (on request), you will be able to dock and enjoy the surrounding nature, have a picnic and cool off in the water! Please note that it is forbidden to jump into the water directly from the canoe.

How big is the group, and is transport to/from the starting point provided?
This is a rental service where you paddle at your own pace. You will start from and return to the base in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne, so no transport is included.
