Are you looking for a unique off-road adventure? Then come discover Mount Etna with our morning Jeep tour! Our professional guide will accompany you on one of the highest volcanoes in Europe and tell you everything about its history and development over the years.
After meeting in the Catania area, we will start driving up the volcano, to an altitude of 2,000 metres. We will walk on quiet panoramic paths and appreciate the incredible view of the volcano, with its black sand, gentle slopes and numerous dormant craters. The tour will continue with a visit to an area of ancient explosive activity, where we will find some hornitos, structures built up by lava ejected through an opening in the ground.
Finally, we will reach a lookout point on the Valle del Bove, the most important valley on the east side of the volcano. During the day, you will also have the opportunity to discover the specialities of this volcanic region, tasting local wines, liqueurs and honey.
