Sailboat Trip from Adamantas to Paleochori with Lunch

If you only have one day in Milos, make the most of it by joining us on our one-way sailboat trip from Adamantas to Paleochori. With four swimming stops made at the greatest locations along the way, our star cruise visits the inaccessible west and south sides of Milos and the bay of Adamantas. Our local skipper will make sure to share some historical facts and myths about the island.

We depart from the Adamantas Port and start to sail, passing the first Christian catacombs and the colourful village of Klima, where the statue of Venus de Milo was discovered. We will also see the "Arkoudes", an impressive 6-metre-bear-shaped rock. Afterwards, we will reach Cape Vani, famous for the abandoned manganese mine, the ruins of which can still be seen. Our first swimming and snorkeling stop will be at the bay of Kalogries. After 20 minutes of enjoying its crystal-clear turquoise waters, delicious snacks will be served.

Sykia, the biggest and most impressive cave in Milos, will be our next destination, where we will spend around one hour. We will anchor in the clear green waters of a bay nearby for a swim and take our small motorboat to visit the cave from the inside.

After this exciting experience, we will head towards Kleftiko, a group of peculiar and imposing sea rock formations with a labyrinth of caves. It was actually an old pirate's hideout and lair. We will stop here for 2 hours. Mask and flippers will be provided to you, so that you can have an amazing snorkel experience swimming around this unique complex of tall limestone rocks.

Getting back on the boat, refreshments and ice-cold beers, traditional ouzo and a delicious meal and dessert will be waiting for us. We will then sail towards the bay of Gerakas, considered one of the island’s best beaches. After a brief swim, we return to the boat, where fresh fruit will be waiting for us before we set sail. Our trip comes to an end in the peaceful bay of Paleochori. From here, we travel back to Adamantas by private transfer, arranged by us, in only 15 minutes.

We meet at the Adamantas Port, in front of the Kinigos restaurant, 30 minutes before departure. The public car park of Adamantas, which is for free, is 300 metres away.

Good to know
- Every second day, the activity is done the way around: we start with the transfer from Adamantas to Paleochori and sail all the way until Adamantas. Either way, the meeting and returning point is the one in Adamantas
- In the rare case of very strong winds, we will modify the itinerary so to sail the protected side of the island and avoid sailing in rough seas. If this is the case, we will always inform you about the new route a couple of days before the trip, after taking into consideration the weather conditions.
