Choose this small-group sailing sailboat trip around Milos and Polyaigos to experience their top highlights in a single day. You will swim and snorkel in Sykia, Kleftiko, Gerakas and visit the famous Blue Bay in Polyaigos! We depart from the Adamantas Port and circumnavigate Milos towards Cape Vani, famous for the abandoned manganese mine, the ruins of which can still be seen.
Our first swimming and snorkeling stop will be in Sykia, the biggest and most impressive cave in Milos. After a 20-minute swim stop in the crystal-clear emerald waters and around colourful rocks, brunch will be served. Our next destination will be Kleftiko, a group of peculiar and imposing sea rock formations with а labyrinth of caves. We will stop there for 40 minutes, where you will have the chance to swim and snorkel around the rocks, try our stand-up paddle and of course, enjoy this very special old pirates' hideout and lair.
After some refreshments, ice-cold beer and many delicious snacks, we will sail along the south coastline, passing the bay of Gerontas and the beaches of Fyriplaca and Tsigrado. Our next stop will be at the impressive Gerakas beach, where we will have more than one hour for swimming and having lunch. We will then head towards our next destination: Thiоriсhiа, meaning "sulphur mines" in Greek. It is an abandoned sulphur mine, but nowadays, it creates a magnificent landscape.
We will sail further until the uninhabited island of Polyaigos, meaning "many goats" in Greek, since it is inhabited only by goats. Our main stop here will be at the Galazia Nera (Blue Bay), which, as its name describes, its water has the most vibrant shade of turquoise. Here, with the loneliness of the land, we will relax and enjoy our last swim of the day with some delicious desserts.
On our way back to Adamantas, we will pass Glaronisia, the seagull island, a rare phenomenon consisting of hexagonal-shaped lava rocks. Our trip ends with sightseeing in the bay of Adamantas, with the beautiful golden sunset colours.
