Nature, professionalism and fun: you will find this and more with our sailing trip to the Asinara National Park! Get ready to discover breathtaking landscapes that will fill your heart as well as your eyes. If we are lucky, we will also have the chance to spot dolphins swimming next to our boat. All the conditions are in place for you to have a dream experience with us. We will depart from Stintino, and from there the exploration of Asinara will begin. Awaiting us will be a long series of unique natural attractions and a rendezvous with history when we arrive at the Submerged Roman Amphorae, cargo from a Roman merchant ship that was lost on the seabed some 1600 years ago. You will have the opportunity to visit the Marine Animal Recovery Centre, once you reach Cala Reale, the docking point of Asinara Island. You can also dive into the surrounding crystal-clear waters thanks to a dedicated platform on the island during our 2 hours stop. A tasty lunch of typical food produced by a farm active in the rehabilitation of drug addicted people will welcome you back on board. With our bellies full and softened by the vision of the turquoise sea, our journey will continue. Passing through the natural pools of Fornelli, we will reach Isola Piana, another pearl of this part of Sardinia. In the afternoon, further stops for swimming and snorkeling are planned, depending on the pace and preferences of the group. Finally, we will return to the port of Stintino surrounded by unspoilt nature and blue waters.

Angelo is a very friendly and helpful captain, with a lot of passion. He knows a lot about the area and history around Asinara and has family roots there himself. It was very exciting to learn more about him and his homeland. We laughed a lot, drank delicious regional wine (Vermentino), and thoroughly enjoyed the Sardinian cheese and sausage with bread. Apparently, the local seagulls and fish also like cheese and bread, and they were practically waiting to finally be fed. Unfortunately, it was so windy that day that I wrapped myself up in a bolero and scarf because I usually get sick quickly and was already a bit under the weather. The others went swimming in the beautiful turquoise and emerald green spots. The view alone was truly a dream, a little lifelong dream that we had fulfilled! My partner felt like a fish in water. Angelo kept asking me if everything was okay and later put his jacket on me, which I really appreciated. He also offered me his shady spot in Asinara because I'm very fair and have to be careful with the sun. You simply have to experience the traditional Sardinian boat; it's so much cooler and more authentic than, for example, exploring the area in an inflatable boat. We also felt very safe with Angelo at all times. Thank you so much, dear Angelo, for this wonderful experience. It was definitely one of our highlights in Sardinia and will stay with us for a long time!
