If you have always wanted to ride the biggest waves in the world and would like to reach your goals in no time, join our private surf lessons in Nazaré! Our professional instructors will introduce you to this sport or help you improve your technique on one of the most epic surf spots in Portugal.

Our classes are designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers and the minimum age is 6 years old. By booking a private class, you will get the most out of your time on the water and you will constantly receive individual feedback and tips. To ensure you have the best experience possible, the maximum number of participants in our private surf lessons is 2. See you at the beach!

Meeting & Preparation
On the day of your surf lesson, come to our base in Nazaré 10 minutes before the start of the lesson. Here you will meet your instructor and you will receive the equipment for the surf class, which will be based on your age and your experience. If you arrive by car, you can use the free car park nearby. You can get changed and leave your personal belongings in the van of the surf school.

Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Course content
- Introduction about the surf equipment and how to take care of it

- Technique practice: paddling, board control, standing up
- Practice in the water
- Balancing stance and first tricks
- Individual feedback

Surfing beginners at our school are typically able to:
- After 1 day: apply the theoretical knowledge learnt on the first day, paddle, position themselves on the board
- After 2 days: stand up properly, catch the first waves and apply the first tricks
- After 5 days: surf by themselves, catch challenging waves and perform more advanced tricks

Please note that everyone's learning progress is different as some people learn quicker than others.
