What to Expect
Even grown-ups can enjoy group lessons! Our adult ski lessons in Saalbach are designed for beginners and experienced skiers alike. In a group of maximum 12 people of the same level, you will learn and progress under the watchful eye of our professional instructors, who are keen to teach you their craft.
Our lessons start on the first day at the top of the Bernkogel. In the beginners' area, adults discovering skiing can learn the basics in complete safety before hitting the slopes for the first time. Thrills guaranteed! If you are already experienced, there are plenty of runs of varying difficulty to help you gain confidence, refine your technique and of course, learn new skills. At lunch, we will eat together in a restaurant on the mountain, making for a convivial atmosphere!
Meeting Time
We meet in the adult practice area by the Bernkogelbahn mountain station, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
Equipment Rental
If you want to book with equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at our shop Skifürst Rent a Ski (Unterdorf 810) near our meeting point from 2 pm the day before, or from 8 am on the day of the course. Just select your preferred equipment at the check-out when booking.
Ski Pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy it at the ski lift ticket office.

As a 59-year-old complete beginner with absolutely no prior experience, I felt very well taken care of. I attended a 5-day ski course and learned the most important basics during the first three days with Christijn's guidance. By the morning of the second day, we were already out on the slopes, having moved from the practice area.
From day four onwards, I was able to switch to a more advanced group. Here, too, I felt very well looked after thanks to Myrthe's excellent instruction, and since there were only two of us left on the last day, it was almost as if I had private lessons with Myrthe. She took plenty of time to address our mistakes, allowing us to correct them and make significant progress.
After the 5 days, I felt confident enough to tackle other blue runs on my own.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this ski school and am already considering booking some private lessons there on my next ski vacation.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
