Sicily is a unique and surprising land, rich in natural and cultural treasures just waiting to be discovered. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, join our boat trip to the Riserva dello Zingaro and Faraglioni of Scopello and let the beauty of this gem in the Mediterranean enchant you!
Departing from San Vito Lo Capo, we will head towards the Golfo del Secco, where the Tonnara del Secco stands, an ancient architectural structure dedicated to tuna fishing, which today represents a unique monument of great anthropological and historical value. We will navigate towards the Golfo del Firritato, where we will pause to admire the Lago di Venere, a natural pool created by falling rocks from the nearby coastline until we arrive at the Riserva dello Zingaro, a natural oasis stretching along the north-western coast of Sicily. Here you can admire unspoilt nature, characterised by several coves with white sand and cliffs plunging into the crystal-clear sea. We will navigate along the reserve until we stop at Cala dell'Uzzo, where we will make our first swimming stop.
Resuming navigation, we will proceed towards the Tonnara di Scopello. In the meantime, we will see Cala Marinella with its emerald-green water, perfect for snorkelling, Cala Beretta, Cala della Disa, which is a little corner of paradise on earth, Cala del Varo and, nestled among the rocks, Cala Capreria, considered the Sicilian version of Caribbean beaches! The marvellous Faraglioni di Scopello will welcome us to the tuna fishery of the same name. These imposing limestone monoliths and the sea breeze create a scene of great suggestion and beauty, capable of capturing the senses! Here is where we will make our most extended stop, allowing us to enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water and a relaxed apéritif. At the end of our break, we will reverse course to return to the port of San Vito Lo Capo but, if we have time, we will make a final stop at the Tonnara del Secco for a few additional dips!
