Boat Trip from Poros to Itaca with Snorkeling

Embark on an unforgettable boat trip to Itaca departing from the port of Poros. Get ready for a day filled with adventure and relaxation because after just 20 minutes of navigating, we will make our first stop, allowing you to jump into the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea. Of course, our crew can provide you with a snorkeling equipment if you wish to explore below the surface. Naturally, you are welcome to bring snacks and beverages for the trip. And you will also be able to purchase refreshments on board throughout the whole trip.

Next, we will head to the harbour of Vathy, the capital of Itaca, where you will have 1.5 hours to discover the place. Whether you are in the mood for a coffee break, shopping or just strolling around, the town will provide you with options! What's more, if you want to find out more about the local history, you can pay a visit to the archaeological museum which houses objects dating back to 1000 BC, or else, you can go to the Naval museum for a trip through the island's maritime heritage.

Then, our boat will glide towards the charming Kioni, a fishermen's village, and the only one to survive the devastating earthquake of 1953. You will have 1.5 hours to enjoy the atmosphere and try the local cuisine at a traditional tavern. Lastly, we will head towards a secluded beach, hand-picked by the captain, where we will stay for about 40 minutes. There, you will get another chance to swim and embrace the serenity of the surroundings before we head back to our starting point.

How to get there
We will meet in front of our boat at the Port of Poros, 30 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free car parks nearby. If you wish to use our free pick-up service from Skala or Katelios, please contact us after completed booking to arrange the details.
At the end of the trip, we will return to the Port of Poros.
